honestly, the 106 & park red carpet was better then the award show! the best performances at the actual show was the lifetime achievement award to the o' jays with tyreese, trey songz, and johnny gill (they killed it!), when keith sweat, BBD, and Guy came out (i was hyyype lOl), umm even though i have something against maxwell i have to admit he killed it...ugh. keke palmer nailed that little mj song! i was like "keke p o' sev we doin it real big" lmao insider.
jamie fox had me rollin! especially when him and martin did that wanda and shanaenae "trailer" i was on the verge of crying from laughing so damn hard! and when taraji p. henson and tyreese did that baby boy stuff i was cracking up "i hate you jody!" lOl i was saying that all night. keri hilson did terrible, keyshia and monica was ard, jay-z didn't really catch my attention. janet jackson almost got to me, i felt a lump in my throat when she was talking.
and the part that really had me trippin was drake, lil wayne, and birdman. once drake came on i turned my tv to 100% and sang/rapped along. then i realized drake was sitting the whole time so i'm like "oooh he think he cool huh?" lOl but then i watched to after party and he said there was something wrong with his ankle or something like that, it's like degrassi all over again (wheelchair jimmy hahaa) "shawty cripple" gnr! i still don't understand why there were 14 year old girls on stage dancing to every girl? some dude said they were his kids (which they weren't) and somebody told me its because somebody is like 13 and he was there...idk some shit. either way those little kids shouldn't have been on stage dancing to a song that goes "i wish i could fuck every girl in the world" lets be real, that was kinda R Kellyish...whatever! birdman was bomb. they all did good though despite all the stuff listed above.
over all the bet awards 09 was okay. if they didn't try to dedicate the entire show to MJ i believe it could've been better.

i suggest you watch if you want to laugh at the sloppiness lOl SOME parts were good but overall it was a mess
i was soo disappointed with B's performance too, but supposedly Debra Lee wanted someone to do something less hip hopish... she claimed the show was dominated by hip hop and not R&B. Yea, overall the show was not the best it could have been.
ok beyonce did the same thing she did at her concert. i dont get the wedding dress either but whatever.
and i saw on mediatakeout that the girls on stage with him dancing to every girl (which was lame and had no taste to me) was his daughter with toya and tiny's daughter along with some girl group they performed called the OMG GIRLZ
